No matter what time of year you like to fish, Big Green Lake offers ample opportunity to catch the big one. Known as Wisconsin's deepest inland lake at 237 feet deep, the over 7000 acres of water is clear and unique. Through the years, Big Green has achieved the reputation of being the best inland Lake Trout fishery in the Midwest. It doesn't stop there however, as we have large numbers of Large and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Cisco, White Bass and nice Bluegill. The game fish season opens May 1 of every year and Green Lake does allow motor trolling. Check with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for confirmation of regulations.
